Initial Comments:
This report is the result of an occupancy survey conducted on March 19, 2024, for occupancy on April 1, 2024, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWVMC) Medical Office Building located at 950 East Mountain Blvd, Wilkes Barre a Hospital Outpatient (HOP) site of Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, which included new construction to include a Radiology suite, suite 104, located at 950 East Mountain Blvd, Wilkes-Barre. This occupancy includes 2 Ultrasound rooms with connecting restroom, 2 changing areas, 2 Xray machines, a reading room, a clean equipment room, soiled holding room, staff restroom, tech workspace, waiting area and check in/out space.
Based on the occupancy survey, it was determined the facility was in compliance with all applicable requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Health's Rules and Regulations for Hospitals, 28 PA Code, Part IV, Subparts A and B, November 1987, as amended June 1998 and the current edition of the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospital and Health Care Facilities.
